Hello again!

Life is good again! I am actually in Provo right now. The tall guy is preparing to leave to Seattle and is busy with all of that so I came to visit one of the sisters! If you have been to chronicler's blog you know that we have a new little one to add to our growing extended family. He is just the cutest little boy yet! I am so happy that things are going well for them. I miss the tall guy like crazy, but I guess I need to get used to it. After he graduates he will be working late and slaving away for the advertising world. Although we won't see each other as much I will be so excited when that day comes, because once he is finished I get to go back to school!YAY!!!!! As some of you know I will be finishing my Art History degree with a minor in Photography. It will be so fun! Unitl then I am preparing to take my Optician's lisence while I am working for a couple of eye doctors. It is pretty cool! So yes things are looking up! I will try to write more a little more this week, since the tall guy will be in Seattle. Until next time!!! :o)

Slacker!!!!!

Okay sorry I have been such a slacker recently! It has been a little crazy around here with my job and the new car! At work I have been running around like a mad woman and then not getting off until 6pm. So that means that dinner gets put on the back burner and poor hubby has to help me think of something quick and healthy, hah good luck! But he does a good job! I actually haven't felt like eating much recently though, the metformin the doctor has me on hasn't been doing much except make me feel pretty sick. I am think I need to call him and tell him that it has stopped working like it is supposed to, oh joy! So maybe he will up the dosage, eeek, or just change the medicine, which may be a good thing. Sorry if I am being really whiney today I just am feeling kinda down. Missing home, my family and the warmth. Missing my thin body, hating the fact that being insulin resistant makes you think about everything you take into your body.
I guess I need to look on the bright side though! I am healthy, my family is healthy, we all have strong testimonies of the gospel, and we will be welcoming a wonderful new little nephew here in a couple days!!! Yay! The tall guy and I found a cute little onesie, jumper type thing that will be so adorable that we need to send to him. I can't wait to see the picture of the cute little guy, I just wish I could be there to see him. It is amazing how much you appreciate your family when you are so far away from them. I am sorry for all the Idahoans that love this potato filled land, but I cannot stand it and I am ready to be done with it. The tall guy is going to Seattle in a couple weeks for an internship expedition for a couple days to see what internship opportunities may be out there when he is finished and I will be here by myself. It is actually a little scary because it will be the first time since we have been married that he will be gone for about a week. I will be okay though:o) I have work to keep me busy. So guys if you hear from me alot that week that is why, hehe! I won't have anyone else to talk to! Anyways I will stop rambling and complaining to you! I love you all!

New Found Love

For those of you who have not tried these yet, RUN to your store and buy some! There are delicious! I know it is the beginning of the year and everyone is trying to be healthy, but come on face it Valentine's Day usually ruins it anyways. These little morsels of goodness taste kind of like a Little Debbie's Cherry Cordial but crunchy! They are soooo good.

FINALLY!!!!

After six long months she is finally here! I am completly in love with it! I got up and washed it and took the few pictures that I could in the cold. So I will be updating you on it more. I need to go now though we are going to play games with our friends.

4. Reruns of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I get up early every morning just so I can watch it, how sad is that. I think I have watched the whole series about three times over.

1. Pismo Beach, CA (I think everyone should go and at least spend a weekend there, if not for the beauty, do it for the amazing food!)
2. Honolulu and Waikiki (Not as much fun as I would have expected)

busy, busy, busy

Okay so My World is very cold this week!!! Like negative 20 degrees cold! One thing to warm it up around here though is that my new Rabbit will be here this week.YAAAAAAYYY!!!!!!! I have been waiting 6 months for this cute little black hatchback to arrive and finally it just might be in Idaho this very minute! I am so excited! Of course I will take all kinds of picture for you all to see. And if you are not quite sure what I am referring to, my husband and I ordered a 2007 VW Rabbit, 2 doors, black and oh so cute! That was SIX months ago! It seems like forever ago.
I also just got a new job at the hospital about 30 mins away, so that should be pretty exciting. I will be working in the business office doing some insurance work and also registering patients. If I find that I happen to not like it I will just have to find a new job, but we shall see! The Tall guy also got a new job that he is really enjoying. He is progressing in school nicley and we hope to be out of here by December. YAY! I don't think I could take another full winter here in the frozen Tundra. Where we will end up who knows. More than likely we will move somewhere near Seattle but who knows!?!
Anyways I need to run, our super cool friends from upstairs invited us over for dinner! YUM! So talk to ya later!

Winter Wonderland!?!

So this past week hasn't been all that exciting. We went and got a Christmas tree even though we aren't going to be here to enjoy it. I just missed the smell of Christmas and the joy it brings to the home! It actually fills up that empty space in the corner quite nicely. I am finishing up Christmas gifts for the family...they are so cute! I hope everyone will love them! The Tall Kid is finishing up the semester in a few weeks, and is actually not too stressed out, thank goodness! I am just counting down the days until Christmas!
I was looking outside this morning and it reminded me of a SNL skit they did awhile back with Christopher Walkin and Cheri Oteri set in New Jersey or somewhere like that. Cheri Oteri walks out of her house see everything covered in about 3 feet of snow. She chit-chats with a few neighbors, yells at a few kids and then says in a thick New Jersey accent, "Yeah, they call this a Winter Wonderland ...sigh... Wonderland? The only thing I am wondering is where the heck I parked the car!?!" It is actually a really funny skit, one of my favorites. The snow isn't that bad yet, it is actually warming up and melting off a little. When I say warming don't think we are all running around in swimsuits due to the nice heat wave! Warming up is about 34 degrees or so. Just above freezing so the snow can melt and freeze overnight so we have a nice thick layer of ice anywhere you go :)
Anyways things around here are going pretty well. School is almost out for the break and Christmas is almost here. YAY!!! I hope to see you all soon!
